THANKSGIVING
As we are entering into the Thanksgiving Holiday season, let us stop and think on John 6:11 (NLT);
"Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward He did the same with the fish. And they all ate as much as they wanted.”
Jesus stopped to give thanks to His heavenly father before the meal.
When we count our blessings and give God glory for all that He has given us and done for us, then we are actually doing three things:
Giving God the thanks He deserves.
Focusing our mind and thoughts to be more in tune to the blessings all around us.
Enlarging our minds and hearts to receive even greater blessings from God.
May we follow the example set by Jesus by giving thanks continually.
